This trip is organized by China Academy of Urban Planning and Design Shenzhen. It will contain two half-day site visits with in the city of Shenzhen.<\/p>\n

One is to explore the urban villages Hubei<\/em> located in the city center of Shenzhen, containing not only old buildings in need of conservation but also some illegal over-built buildings. Hubei<\/em> is referred as the last ancient village in Shenzhen and will be renovated soon.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The other one is to learn about Wanke Dreamtown<\/em>, which is a typical gated community covering 530 thousand m2 <\/sup>and equipped with its own schools, shopping malls and other facilities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Details of the one-day trip are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n Date:<\/strong> Feb.27, 2017<\/p>\n Schedule:<\/strong> Site visit to Hubei (Morning), lunch, site visit to Vanke City (afternoon) and dinner<\/p>\n Cost:<\/strong> 500RMB to be collected in Shenzhen (Including two meals\uff0cthe transportation cost in Shenzhen\uff0cand translation fee)<\/p>\n Pickup Points:<\/strong> The two hotels as mentioned in the \u201cAccommodation\u201d<\/p>\n Accommodation:<\/strong>\u00a0 The local host can make hotel room reservations for the participants in the following hotels, Shenzhen Grand View Hotel (4-star at US$100 per night) or Maple Leaf Pin-Yuan Service Apartment (US$50 per night).
